Bogdan Injured

Been told by a good source that Bogden's on crutches? result?

Would not wish injury on anybody but I'd be happy to see how we do without him for a few games if true.

Is the source Chris Amos ?

No i work with a girl who's dad is on the inside, he sent a text from the training ground to say Adam was on crutches injured in training.

I wasn't celebrating his injury i was asking a question, Hipster i agree with you, i would never want a Bolton player to be injured, i was posing the question because i know that many fans feel that he should be rested. and that Lonergan deserves a chance at some point.

Nice one Scott , i walked into that one, he works for the club with the players so knows what,s going on.

There was a rumour going around from a rival website that I saw on the news now feed over the weekend.

I would never want to see our own players injured, even Bogdan.

If it was Zat Knight I would be hoping it would be game threatening (i.e. would have to retire) and would be celebrating with a bottle of true Champagne!

  

I have it on good authority from somebody on the inside he will be playing on Saturday!

More concerned about the future of Jay Lynch. Despite being under 6ft tall,so pretty small for a modern keeper,he shows superb potential. He really needs to be loaned out to get some games under his belt,but it seems other clubs are dubious because of his relatively short stature. Is it worth throwing the lad in at the deep end?

Shame really, Bogdan has had a couple of decent games since the Yeovil howler.

I know a few fans don't really rate bogdan but I refuse to beleive Lonergan is that much better than the lad.

All this talk about a short goalkeeper, reminded me of Eddie Hopkinson, a short-arse Bolton keeper, who actually played for England. Also, by all accounts Lynch is very athletic. Lets not write him off too soon, the poor bugger hasn't even had a chance to show what he's got yet.

BoltonBonce, my last comment wasn't aimed at you, its just that I've seen a few comments around the forum about his height.

Saw Hoppy play many times. Would look like a midget in the modern game,but a great keeper.Lynch looks capable of being a top keeper himself. Big doesn't always mean better,look at Zat Knight.
