Clashes between Bolton Wanderers and Docaster Rovers have been few and far between down the years.

The most recent competitive game between the two sides came in the third round of the FA Cup in the 2006/07 season.

Doncaster, then a League One side, were brushed aside in what was the first ever FA Cup tie at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Sam Allardyce’s side ran out comprehensive 4-0 winners thanks to an Andranik Teymourian brace and strikes from Kevin Davies and Idan Tal. To watch back the action from the game click the video player below.

Watching the great passing work and wonderful finishing makes me think that if Beckford was on the receiving end, he would have missed all four chances.
