Celebrity memorabilia

Having just sold something on ebay, I got to looking at rare and signed film items on ebay to see what I could pick up.

Has anyone on here got any thing signed off a celebrity you have met or bought online?

I don't think I have any merchandise signed by a celeb.

I thought one day when I'm older and had a big house I would have a bar in it with some framed football shirts signed by teams,

I have noticed that some signed stuff goes for quite a lot, although I would be wary of fakes knocking around.

What did you sell on ebay just out of interest?

Pretty sad but I was 13 at the time when I bought it but I sold a full size FX star wars light saber.

To be fair I bought it for £20 and have just sold it for just under £70.

Well you have made a nice profit which is always a bonus if it was unwanted and not lost anything even with their eye watering fees at 10%!

I have alot of stuff signed by Nat Lofthouse, Gudi bergson, Jimmy Philips, Keith Branagan, per fransen the list is quite large.

Are they the usual footballs and shirts from when you lived up north Magoo?

I used to sponsor games yrs ago, also Per Frannson, I have shit loads of old stuff all in the attic.
Shirts, Pictures, glass Items, etc etc.
I have some nice pics of nat at Burnden Park, in his casual clothing.
When I have time i shall post them up.

Got a lot of Nat,and plenty from the 30's and 40's. Dick Pym sent me a nice letter and an autograph and that's probably my favourite.

It sounds like you have got a right good collection going on!

With you paying for sponsorship etc I would have thought that you would have had some meet and greats with some of the players etc?

I've always thought that if ebay doesn't sell it, they probably don't make it!

I managed to get a special I.T cable that a seller was making possibly at his home that nowhere sold for a couple of quid.

I used to be able to go any where in the ground, met most players over the yrs.

I have a signed photo of Narrinder Kaur from Big Brother, she did a signing in Milton Keynes.
