Maybe whatever was stuck on the kitchen floor after trying to look smart by flipping them and then not managing to catch them in the frying pan?

Nothing- he doesn't like lemon, syrup or sugar.
He likes his pancakes raw

We had ours tonight i like mine with lemon and sugar and was on my third when my 16 year old put marmite on his and i suddenly did'nt want to finish mine.

Marmite AD? Your 16 yr old disgraced a perfectly good pancake with marmite? What was he thinking?   

I hope you grounded your son for a millennium, confiscated his mobile phone and all other electronic gadgets and fined him the next decade's worth of pocket money/allowance or whatever income he may derive from your personal wallet.   

It's absolutely the least he deserves for that sort of heresy!
