After that daft Labour MP cow tweeted that picture of that house down south with the England flags and the white van and implied that it was in some way racist to live your life like that and then she had to resign and pedal off on her bike and Ed Miliband came out and pretended to be angry about it and all that bollocks......

.....I've just seen Ed Balls on the BBC news saying that she was obviously stupid and in no way represented the views of the Labour Party because if you see a white van it's "probably a plumber" and if you see the flag of St George being flown it's "probably teenage kids" doing it, so we shouldn't immediately assume that it's a racist act and she was a bit stupid to say what she did.

Fucking hell........

How completely out of touch are these people and how thick do they think we really are?

His explanation is every bit as stupid and misinformed as her original tweet and just makes it worse in my book because he's being as equally vacuous as the original daft bitch in question and has proved that the Labour leadership haven't got a fucking clue by allowing him to come out in the media with this statement but nobody's picked up on it so far which concerns me.

I'm never voting again..........

"Probably a plumber" Laughing we might as well have Boris Johnson as PM. At least he knows he talks bollocks and has good comedy value. Who the fuck are we supposed to vote for they are all cnuts.

Exactly......

There's nobody left.

You can't vote Tory because that's just wrong on about five levels.

The Liberals have proven to be a bunch of grabbing fuckers over the last three and a half years, who haven't got a clue and are just happy to be involved.

UKIP's full of racist nutters.

The Greens are a bunch of pot smoking hippy twats who think that nuclear power is "like totally bad, man.....like, yeah....totally?"

And the modern parliamentary Labour party have finally managed to hammer the last fucking nail into my erstwhile solidly held socialist beliefs and made it impossible for me to vote for the fuckers.

Like I said before, I'm officially giving up on it all.

Fuck 'em.

I remember a saying from my old student days that still seems appropriate:

"If voting changed anything they wouldn't let us do it".

That's why I don't bother voting. People say to me,"you can't complain about the government if you don't bother to vote. If you vote you might make a difference and have the people you want in power".

Bollocks. I don't want any of these twats in power. I am going to get screwed either way. Only difference is that if I vote I get to chose who I would like to be screwed by. No thanks.

When the Scottish Nose Pickers trounce Labour in Scotland and UKIP and the Tories do the same in England there will be nothing left of New Labour. Unfortunately being a politician has become a career and not a calling there are very few what you would call "conviction" politicians around. Labour / Tory / Lib Dem it doesn't matter almost all of them went to the same schools, the same universities on the same courses, then went to work as researchers for MP's or senior civil servants before being selected for a seat as an MP. Hardly any of them has had a career outside of politics and most are from the professional middle classes, the pay for a politcian at a professional lever is fairly average and therefore the standard of those choosing that career are also average.

It isn't just this country that finds itself in this predicament, politics in the US and across Europe is also suffering the same malaise, the PR and media spin doctors have squeezed every last drop of passion and character out of our elected representatives to the extent that they all look the same, spout the same PC bollocks and as a result most people are disillusioned and have lost interest. It also means that to win they have to appeal to those most likely to vote and those are pensioners [out of duty], and those with the most extreme views, hence the rise of UKIP / Tea Party in the UK and the States and some fascist and extreme left parties in Europe.

It is unlikely that I will vote even in a general election now as all the options available are equally unpalatable.

I'm all a bit lost on this one.

What I mean is that UKIP won this seat inspite of the sitting MP - Reckless, whose credability was shot to pieces when he clearly lied to the Conservatives (they have it on tape) a day or so before jumping to the UKIP's.

So he's not the reason they won.

The seat was clearly a true blue one (something like UKIP's 241st chance of winning).

So clearly the tory vote did not hold.

The Labour woman's tweet then (which to be fair does in general indicates a white working class voter who has strong views on immigration) does in retrospect seem to have been spot on, in predicting a swing away from them voting Conservative at the last election to UKIP this.

So political correctness claims another victim imo.

Whatever the more informed political posters on here may think, the plain truth is that the majority of the public only vote on one principle issue (ignoring all the other parts of a party's manifesto) that concerns them - and that clearly is immigration.

It's not only the UK too, the recent European elections showed a large protest vote in nearly all the member country's.

Last week a study suggested that immigrants from the 10 countries that joined the EU in 2004 - the so-called A10 nations - contributed more to the UK than they took out in benefits.

But the report produced by University College London also found that non-European immigrants had made a negative net fiscal contribution of £118 BILLION between 1995 and 2011.

Seems most people simply have had enough.

Looks like this will open the door to UKIP in 2015 though, as many more white van and England flag men throughout the country (and many decent notmal people too) will be voting just the same they did in Rochester this week, unless some major swing can happen between now and May.

Seems the futures Farage's to lose.

What a clown Ed Miliband is "when I see a white van i feel respect"

why? It's a van...

and there really isn't anything more cringeworthy than a fucking house covered in shitty England flags.

And another thing, didn't the guy who lives in the house say he had them out because of the football? I seem to remember England beating some third world country 3-1 recently.
