If we wented do buy players it is but the 'emergency' loan window opens in a few days time and as you know that's where we've done most of our business in the last few years.

BN reporting Simeon Slavchev is in the pipeline. The Bulgarian Lampard apparently. Not sure about that.

Hopefully this will fall through. Too many players from Bulgaria/Romania arrive in the UK and then are nothing but trouble.
For us Petrov wasn't exactly a shining example of graft and loyalty

Good rumours these if true and do-able.

Slavchev is probably just what we need in midfield and plays a bit like Nolan according to my knowledgeable mate. Kuipers is a solid defender in the Ron Vlaar style - nothing too fancy. Both are young and could just about hold their own in the Championship straight away. Put them both in the team for the rest of the season and next year we'll have two cracking players - if we can actually buy them.
Lennon has already brought in quality in Rohinha and if these three could perform to their ability and get signed they could be great as all have the potential to become Premiership standard.

So he can't pass 5 yards and gets booked whenever he attempts a tackle?

Celtic are also attempting to get Bannan on loan- that might be what's holding the deal up. Bannan might just prefer Celtic to us
