Favourite album cover art

The other day I bought this album for a couple of quid -



Never heard of Bram Tchaikovsky and didn't think I'd enjoy the music (I was right), but I quite liked the cover. Got me thinking about the best album covers anyway, I really like the old Blue Note ones and classics like 3 feet high and rising -





What are your favourites?

I love old school hip-hop album covers with big black guys looking hard. But as impact goes they don't come more visually interesting than the Geto Boys "We Can't Be Stopped" cover which shows Bushwick Bill minutes after he was shot through the eye being pushed down a hospital corridor by Scarface and Willie D.

Both of these are an Australian artist called Leif Podhasky -

Back in the days of proper records, the inner sleeve of this one had photos of people on one side behind the windows and blinds on the other.

For some reason (autism?) the 12 year old me was fascinated by it.

It's an album called PIG F HCRI YAAT SLFI by Zed Lepplin.

one of my favourite albums and a great minimalist sleeve as well

Not strictly an album cover but was inside the booklet inside.

This one is a singles cover. Pete Doherty does a lot of the artwork himself. .........using his own blood

I think that is generally how he worked btid.

He has done some very interesting stuff though.

Thing is it will be worth more once he is dead...........which if he starts using again wont be long i imagine

i loved the Libertines but never rally got into any of his or Carls solo suit apart from Dirty Pretty Thieves

KP said he couldn't read what it was called. If you read down instead of across, that's what it spells.
