Neil Lennon hopes his Bolton Wanderers side can maintain their impressive home record under his guidance next season.

Since Lennon’s appointment last October Bolton have lost just four games on home soil, notably pushing Liverpool and eventual Premier League-bound Watford close in thrilling contests.

And ahead of Wednesday’s 2015/16 Sky Bet Championship fixture release day, Lennon has targeted more of the same at Macron Stadium next season.

“I think we’ve seen a glimpse of what we want to do,” he told the club’s official YouTube channel. “At home we want to play attacking football.

“You look at the sides that went up this season and they played an attacking brand of football and it is something I have always believed in.

“At home we’ve done well and we’re starting to make Macron Stadium a difficult place for teams to come and play their football. That has to continue next season.

“We’ve got some very exciting attacking players in the likes of Max Clayton and Zach Clough and we’re of course looking to add to that.

“We want a bit of pace in our side and at this moment we probably lack that in certain areas.”
