on request of KP, Here is the thread for toys you had as a kid.

If you can try and find examples of them for sale now and see how much they are going for.

WARNING: Some of the prices may cause you to have a toy-gasm

Did anyone have any Micro Machines when they were a kid?

Used to love going to Woolworths to get hem, they used to have a great selection there!

I have a shoe box full of them in the loft somewhere.

Had one of these as well...

Super van city sells for about £50, and some of the rarer micro machines can go for that on their own too!  i'd dig your collection out if i was you KP.  Gives you an excuse to relive your kidulthood!  i only ever had a few, don't think i ever bought them are had them bought me, more traded for other stuff or acquired as you do when your a kid Smile

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

I had micro machines and the thunder cats sword as well. I was well chuffed when I got micro machines that could change colour when they were hot or cold. Very cool, well I thought so anyway. Used to love the micro machines computer game as well.

There's a childhood museum near where I live, took a look around on Sunday and saw some old toys I remember having. Favourite was Tracy Island  -

They were bloody expensive at the time, around £40 if I remember rightly!

No wonder Blue Peter made a DIY version! Shocked

Pro Shot Golf. It was bloody ridiculous. It was basically a golfer on the end of a stick, but, having said that,we had hours of fun with it.
Until, that is,my Dad decided that the sponge green used for putting on would make a great insole.
That left us trying to putt across a green blighted by a giant, foot shaped hazard, that made the game even more farcical.
He even put some sand in it and told us to use it as a bunker.Bastard. Very Happy

lol!

I'm sure my dad had one of these and I used to play with it down at my grandads, although there was no green with it.

You had to control the golfers arm with a looped handle type thing that went up and down and the arm would swing from left to right? Very Happy
