Bolton Wanderers have announced their pre-season schedule ahead the 2012/13 campaign.

To date, away friendlies against Crewe Alexandra, Morecambe, Portsmouth and Tranmere Rovers have all been confirmed.

I just hope that one year they will play a friendly with Jupiler League's Almere FC and then possibly Utrecht FC

the risk factor is smaller, we have a better chance of getting through these ones with no broken bones.

Because the level of the squad is just about the same as Bolton's, and would be a good test for the squad - instead of teams like Tranmere, Crewe etc who will just likely beat us like teams, like them, do every pre-season.



Then on a plus side I wouldn't have travel far for once (about 3 stops on the bus - quicker by bus than by car to the ground!)

You mentioned that, not me - but would be good for any of them to sponsor any of the pre-fixtures - could bring in a bit more money!!!

Morecambe's new stadium, the Globe is quite a tidy little ground. We should have played them pre-season two years ago when Sammy McIlroy was managing them but it wasn't ready in time.
