HOW TO STOP GETTING ANNOYING EMAILS (from Bolton Nuts)

Some people are getting an email they don't want when a person posts a reply to a topic they have started or posted in.
Apologies if this is happening to you.
The reason it happens is because all accounts are set, by default, to send you an email when a reply is posted on a topic you have posted in.

There are TWO STEPS to follow to make the emails stop. You need to do both!

STEP ONE

Log in as usual.

>PROFILE (at the top)

>PREFERENCES
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

On the 6th option down the list (Always notify me of replies) click on >NO.

STEP TWO

Click >PROFILE
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

>TOPICS BEING WATCHED
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Then check all the boxes where topics are being watched.

And click Stop watching these topics.

You also need to click No on the 7th option as well.

Do people really register with a real e-mail address?

Normally it's essential as you need to get the confirmation link. At the moment it's turned off.
