Will this be the game where we score.  I do hope so.
We are a much better team a home - will any of the new signings play?

I think we will score and the floodgates will open.  Bolton 3 Forest 0!  Madine finally hitting a header below the bar...

I just don't want dougie to get anything from this. Seriously, Il be shamed if we fuck this up.

This game isn't about league position or anything else, its about screwing over Dougie Freedman.

don't you start, it's hard enough putting "slightly miffed closeted teenager" in his place!

Freedman is history and time has moved on so the only thing that interests me is if Lennon 's team can at least put on a competitive performance and give us some hope for the rest of the season.

I agree Wander, i've heard off the grapevine that many people are going to this game just to try and piss off Dougie, sad really.

Plus that could backfire with him having the last laugh!

There are a few players who were out of favour with Dougie - or deemed "not ready" - who would like to put one over on Dougie too, so hopefully they'll be up for it.

Ref watch: Carl Boyeson to take charge of Forest clash

Carl Boyeson will oversee Bolton Wanderers’ home clash with Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The East Yorkshire-based official has previously run the rule over five Wanderers matches including three last season – the Whites’ away trip to Brentford being the most recent.

Boyeson officiated 33 games last season, handing out 93 yellow cards and five red, while he has taken charge of this matches so far this term, dishing out four yellow cards along the way.

William Smallwood and Kevin Mulraine, while Sebastian Stockbridge is the fourth official.

Dougie is in process of running them but has not quite done the job yet .......  they still have a better team than us at the moment.  1-2  for me..... unless emotion can carry us through against the old boss etc. that's about all the hope we have. We could use a penalty or some type of fluke goal to get us going IMO.

Preview: Bolton v Nottingham Forest

SETTING THE SCENE
Bolton Wanderers host Nottingham Forest at Macron Stadium on Saturday, eager to respond after suffering back-to-back Sky Bet Championship defeats on their travels to Middlesbrough and MK Dons.

Boosted by the arrivals of Francesco Pisano and Wellington Silva in midweek, Neil Lennon will be keen for his side to deliver in front of their home fans as they go in search of their first victory of the season.

Saturday’s clash marks Dougie Freedman and Matt Mills’ first returns to BL6 since their respective departures from Wanderers.

TEAM NEWS
Neil Lennon confirmed in his pre-match press conference that new loan signing Wellington Silva is set to make his Wanderers debut, but fellow arrival Francesco Pisano is lacking match fitness and unlikely to be involved.

Dean Moxey (toe) should be fit but could require an injection after limping off against MK Dons, while Derik Osede (ankle) is making good progress but is unlikely to be risked, with next week’s clash Blackburn Rovers a more realistic return date.

Meanwhile, Max Clayton (knee), Darren Pratley (both ankle), Liam Trotter (hamstring) and David Wheater (calf) remain out.

LAST NOTTINGHAM FOREST XI (v Charlton Athletic, D0-0)
De Vries, Lichaj, Mills, Wilson, Mancienne, Burke, Lansbury, Vaughan, Burke, Ward (Grant 55), Blackstock (Walker 54).

ONE TO WATCH
Having committed his future to Nottingham Forest earlier this week, Henri Lansbury remains one of the East-Midlands club’s star players.

The Tricky Trees captain scored 11 goals last season as Forest eventually finished in mid-table, including seven in seven games between January and February as Dougie Freedman’s side looked to mount a play-off challenge.

Coming through the ranks at Arsenal, Lansbury enjoyed loan stints with Scunthorpe United, Watford, Norwich City and West Ham United before signing for Forest at the start of the 2012/13 season.

I just knew Pisano wouldn't be up to speed for this one despite us needing him now. Bet he's spent all summer scoffing pizza.
