Do you have a tattoo?

I was just thinking that how popular the award titles under posters names are and that everyone seems to want one (except me) and it reminded me once again how out of step I am with most people.

I've nothing against new trends, changing fashions and new technology etc, but I usually think of them as for other peoples pleasure and amusement rather than my own.

It just seemed to me that these 'awards' under peoples names are a sort of a public tattoo - a thing for others to see and it got me thinking that I would think a fair few of here have their own tattoos.

I seem to remember a past thread about where best to go for a tattoo (to someone called Dave t, it was decided) but I couldn't seem to remember people talking about their own.

Apparently one third of the population of this country between the ages of 19-44 have been tattooed!

All I ever see though are programmes on the telly about tattoo nightmares and tattoo fixers!

Do you have a tattoo and if so what is/are they like?

Are you happy with it/them?

Missus name on right wrist

Celtic cross with wings on right fore arm

Small Celtic cross on the top of my back.

Still want more but just can't afford it. Using my tattoo savings so far to go to a bolton game so i can talk on the bolton part of the forum for a week

i never really fancied one while my Brother is covered in them. I did contemplate getting a BWFC badge a few years ago but the wife wouldn't let me 

I think this is Sluffys way of angling for an award .

Never had a tattoo, a lad at work comes in every week and says he spent a weeks wage on a tattoo up his arm and it's not finished yet.

No- and its beyond me why anyone would want one. Its a form of self vandalism and abuse.
I watched that programme Tattoo Fixers t'other night- and what some people do to themselves is beyond belief. Their tattoos are simply ugly -pointless and meaningless.

I don't have any and I don't like seeing women covered in tattoos. Surely they must regret it in later life when their skin starts to sag and everything heads south.
