I see Peter Kay won two BAFTAS this evening, one for best funny man and one for best funny show but I saw the show (mini series) and although I like Kay it simply was not all that funny, in fact it was hardly funny at all!

Have I lost my sense of humour or something?

What does you think - funny or not?

I enjoyed it and am glad a second series is being made. I prefer Max and Paddy though

I have only seen the first episode but plan to watch more. I thought it was funny in parts but found myself thinking that I'll need to watch a few more to really get into it.

Yes Sluffy, you've lost your sense of humour. I loved it.

No I didn't think it was funny although my wife liked it.

It deserved the Baftas. It was very funny. basically two people holding your attention for half an hour but each episode only felt like 10 minutes. I'm not sure about a second series though-.I think they should quit while they're ahead-second series rarely live up to their billing.
Sluffy- you need to get back on the happy pills for a bit

i agree it was very funny and it's all the small details that made me laugh the most, like the radio adverts

It was a pile of hackneyed kack.

I've seen funnier episodes of 24 Hours In A&E.

I agree with Breadders, it's shit and seriously not funny.

It would be interesting to hear what you and Breadders think is funny then, because at a non-intellectual level I found Car shasre really funny in places.

I didn't fall off my chair laughing, but it was passable. Confining yourself to two characters,in a confined space,is a difficult act to pull off,but it was a commendable effort.
Galton and Simpson were the masters of this kind of two hander,(Steptoe & Son)and I'm sure they'd have done it better.

I watched about 3 minutes of an episode before I realised it was boring. Perhaps this is because I don't think Peter K is funny - he's just a poor man's Hovis Presley. So I switched off.

The episode with Reece Shearsmith as the fishmonger was funny. The rest not so much.
