Bolton Wanderers Under-18s conceded a two-goal lead as they lost away at Bristol City on Saturday.

The young Whites took a deserved lead as Cameron Moore raced onto a long through-ball before rounding the goalkeeper and slotting home.

Harry Brockbank then doubled Bolton's advantage before the break, heading home Jack Everest's free-kick at the far post.

However, two individual errors after the interval gifted Bristol City two goals to level the scores.

And with both sides pushing forward in the game's dying embers in search of a winner, it was the hosts who managed to net a decisive goal.

Speaking to bwfc.co.uk after the final whistle, coach Nicky Spooner said; "We started the game well as we pressed high and forced Bristol City into making mistakes.

"We were dominating the game and created numerous chances which should have been taken to extend our lead inside the opening 30 minutes.

"They came out and were more aggressive in the second half, putting us under a lot of pressure and getting two goals from individual errors, before we conceded again late on.

"After a promising start and being in a comfortable position, we didn’t play for the whole 90 minutes and this is something the boys have to learn."
