Did anyone go last night?

I watched it live on facebook (even give this place a plug for you sluffy) and i know quite a few were taking the piss out of us celebrating finishing 2nd but i think it will have done the club and the town good.

i watched a bit of it as you know Johnny, while i was watching my Son play football. Certainly was a big crowd.

Why shouldn't we celebrate? After the 10 years we've had we needed something to get excited about.

I think the idea is as bewildering as the idea of the winner of the playoffs getting a trip to Wembley with a trophy presentation.

I thought this was going to be a thread about Bread & Bonce finally making their relationship official.

We all know you'd love to but legally you can't marry yourself.

I went, was a bit disappointing, highlight was Amir Khan getting booed by half the crowd whilst being interviewed by sky, followed by Cllr Morris and co. being greeted by 'we only came to see the wanderers'.

The players seemed a bit reluctant to lift the 'trophy' with the exception of Max Clayton who with a bit of encouragement from the crowd lifted the trophy about half a dozen times.

On a serious note Parkinson made all the right noises about building for the future and continuing the good work, would have been nice to hear a bit more from the players.

I remember Bruce Rioch standing on the town hall steps and doing that.

Right before he fucked off to Arsenal....

I guarantee you that Parkinson won't go to Arsenal.

There aren't many teams above League 1 level looking for a master of hoofball.

Parky will be in the dugout for us next season, don't worry.

Correct.

Arsenal are looking to install Owen Coyle in the close season.
