Only two more days before we're back in action and it's totally unclear what team Parky will be able to put out for this one.
One small consolation is that Korey Smith will have to fill in at right back for them and he's their most dangerous player, so we might be able to get a grip of midfield for once.

Ref watch: Andrew Madley to man Bristol City match

Andrew Madley will man Wanderers' Sky Bet Championship clash with Bristol City at Macron Stadium on Friday night.

Currently amidst his seventh season as a professional referee, the West Yorkshire-based official first took charge of a Whites game back in January 2013 as Bolton drew 1-1 with Millwall at Macron Stadium.

Since then the official has overseen a further eight Trotters games including three this year - Wanderers' away defeat at Ipswich Town, home draw with Reading and home defeat to Burton Albion.

He has refereed 30 games so far this campaign, dishing out 86 yellow cards and one red card.

James Wilson and Robert Merchant will run the line while Jeremy Simpson is the fourth official.

I guess that with nobody having a clue about what team and system Parky will employ, nobody is willing to have a stab at guessing how we'll do.

We'll get dicked.

I couldn't see us winning before Madine went and i can't see any reason to change my view i'm afraid.

I was testing in Bristol today. 

They were very optimistic.

I'll give it a go. With a  sparkling and youthful line up we'll win this one 2-1

With Bristol's  last 8 matches returning  1 win 1 draw  and 6 defeats I think we'll get something out of the match.

I honestly think we have the players now to play it on the deck and I think we will batter these.

I think we might get a draw out of this.

City have been playing well and had that great cup run but all the games they've played seem to be catching up with them.

As for our team I'm thinking he will go 4-4-2

Note - I originally had Wilbraham in place of Walker and Wheater in place of Beevers but Iles tweeted today that Wilbraham is doubtful with a calf injury and Wheater with a groin strain.

A renewed optimism and blind stupidity will see us through.

Charsley might get another run out instead of Buckley but maybe Parky will only make gradual changes. Whatever happens it's going to be interesting.
