Like I say, lose Saturday and it will get very messy and toxic at the UniBol, Ken cannot afford to piss the fans off, so Ken will act very soon if this carries on.

Why can’t Ken afford to piss the fans off? Are you going to lynch him?

Apparently players/staff won't be paid on time this month.

STAFF and players at Bolton Wanderers have been told they will not be guaranteed their November salary will be on time.

Wages were due into accounts tomorrow but an email was sent out by club owner Ken Anderson yesterday to explain that only some employees would get their money on Friday, with others paid on Monday.
The Bolton News understands that Phil Parkinson’s squad has been informed they will not receive their salary – just 48 hours before they face Wigan Athletic in a local derby.

Staff have been assured by Anderson within the email that the club is working towards a swift solution to their financial problems.
Wanderers’ coffers will be swollen this weekend by gate receipts from the Wigan game, while it is also understood the third instalment of fans’ Direct Debit payments for season tickets is due on Monday.
Although this is the first time general staff at the stadium and club facilities have been affected, problems with payment to players has cropped up with alarming regularity at Bolton in the last 12 months.
In the summer, a friendly against St Mirren was boycotted by players when they were not given bonuses on time for staying in the Championship last season. The Professional Footballers' Association was called in to mediate on the eve of the new campaign.
And in September the EFL threatened to put Wanderers into an embargo unless they settled a bonus row with three former players - Karl Henry, Jem Karacan and Derik Osede - who had since left the club. Again after the intervention of the PFA the matter was settled.

Ken Anderson confirmed today that his attempts to sell Bolton have stalled because potential investors have failed to show proof of funding.
Wanderers have been contacted for comment.

I would have thought Iles would have waited to see what the club response was first before rushing off to print, seeing that it looks like that basically all the wages will be sorted by Monday rather than Friday?

Couldn't agree more. Much of it, as usual, a massive promo for merch and ticket sales along with regurgitating the same old 'getting behind the team' crap but at least he actually had something to say this time.

Oh such stuff doesn't bother me in the least but it does make me despair as to how many people can't think for themselves these days and are so trusting of any old bullshit people put on social media.

Shows the power of controlling media I guess and that most people follow like brain dead sheep without ever questioning what they are reading.

There used to be an old saying about never believing everything you read in the papers - clearly no one as ever taught the Social Media generation to not believe everything they read on Twitter, Facebook and whatever else people read on the internet these days.

If Ken doesn't even have enough money to pay the office staff on time, we won't be sacking Parky whatever his results

So your actually saying that paying off his credit card debt will be offset by paying by his other credit card is ok, FFS he's pissing on the people that beats the heart of the club, how can you defend this fraud? when Decembers wages are due where does he draw the cash from? no DDs to hang on to, he stated in his latest statement that most of the tyre kickers are mostly dreamers that don't have the essential funds to take us forward, where are Kens funds? it fucking stinks, and the stench is awful.

It’s a shame that both the Asian consortium and the American (billionaire?) that Anderson said he was in discussion with on 8th October both turned out to be actually skint. It really is a terrible run of bad luck Anderson is on when every consortium and billionaire he enters into negotiations with has no money.

Terribly unlucky as most of the business consortia and billionaires out there tend to be loaded - how he finds the skint ones every time is uncanny.

Do you mean like the business consortia that took over BHS or the one that took over Burnden Leisure?  Who knows how many months or years Eddie Davies spent trying to find new bona fide owners of BWFC in the end having to settle for £1 from a consortium worth less than the price of a Carrs pastie.

Eddie Davies preferred to remain discrete, Ken Anderson has tried to be more open but either way you're never going to satisfy the neersayers or those who rejoice in bad news.

I think its inevitable we'll be going into administration soon, we've been run like we've been in administration since Ken has been here anyway in terms of selling off any player he could get a fee for and  the transfer embargo.
With hindsight it would have been better going into administration almost 3 years ago when Eddie Davies pulled the plug and started selling off assets rather than prolong the misery under Ken

It might help if you tried to get your head around the facts. It was formally announced in October 2014 that the club was up for sale though it had probably been  informally up for sale for a lot longer than that.

In 2014/15 ED provided the club with another £11million taking his outlay to £185million and providing the club with an opportunity to adjust to the fact that he could no longer continue funding it whilst providing an opportunity for new owners to come in on advantageous terms.

But ED had us up in the High Court facing a winding up order because he wouldn't pay the tax bill and then he sold the training ground to Wigan They probably didnt mention those facts at his memorial service

Can't speak for those who didn't attend the memorial service but I feel fairly certain that those who did attend had at least some powers of reasoning.
