MK DONS boss Paul Tisdale claims Wanderers pursuit of want-away striker Chuks Aneke has stalled.

Speaking after his side’s midweek Carabao Cup victory over Charlton Athletic, Tisdale told the MK Citizen he had received no more contact from Bolton about a prospective loan deal.
Aneke played no part in the weekend victory over Bury and was absent from the squad on Tuesday night.
Reports suggest he has been looking to manufacture a move away from the League Two club since last month.

But Tisdale claimed after the game: “There is no progress so it’s something we will have to come back to another time.”
Wanderers are understood to be weighing up their options in the loan market and made contact with four different clubs over boosting their attack even before allowing Adam Le Fondre to leave for Australia.
Parkinson also wants to add a midfielder before the loan window closes on August 31.

The Wanderers boss had a good look at his squad in defeat against Leeds in the Carabao Cup and was pleased with the performance, but admits there is still room for improvement.

“I am pleased with a lot of aspects,” he said. “We know we have to add players, we know that, there are areas in the squad that are not strong enough.
“But the ones we have brought in I am very pleased with, and there is a togetherness forming within the players.”
