I think a large part of the problem is that Phil doesn't have a settled first 11. Add in that he inexplicably leaves out players who could bag us some goals or only plays them for ten or twenty minutes (Doidge for example) AND that his system seems to be to let the opposition dictate the game and it's not really a mystery is it? I'm not saying the players themselves are world beaters but we know they CAN perform better than this because they have. The lack of confidence, results and the frankly one dimensional tactical approach all comes back to one man. Phil Parkinson. He should have gone already and the longer he stays the worse this will get.

People forget Madine started basically each of the first 11 matches last season, over which we scored 4 goals and took 1 point from 33.

Only a couple months prior to him leaving, most people would have piggybacked him to Cardiff for free, so to get £6m is laughable really.

Shrewd deal and we escaped in the final five minutes of the season.  We need some luck or a striker named Lucky in January who can turn our season around.
