Boltonians have a sexier accent than people from Birmingham, Cheshire, Salford and Cornwall, according to a new survey.
Media company Big 7 Travel asked 1.5 million people to vote for the sexiest, and least sexy, accents in the UK.
Now the firm has come up with a ranked list of 50 accents that people find sexy, topped by voices from Essex, Northern Ireland and Glasgow.
Bolton came in at a respectable number 32 in the list, losing out to Preston, Sunderland, Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool.
At the bottom of the table was the Brummie accent, which just fell below Gloucestershire and Hull as the least sexy voice in the country.
