Just been pointed out that at the same time the judge is going to give his decision - 3pm this afternoon - and that he is referring to the defendant as Inner Circle Investments Ltd - that a horse called Inner Circle will be running at Beverley!

I checked it out - it's true!!!

An omen?

Iles -

Adjourned until September 2nd

Injunction wording has been changed.

We have also seen Burnden Leisure struck off. The sale can go ahead but it's subject to potential legal issues.

Mixed opinions on how good an outcome that is...
It drags things on. But the judge specifically said there should be no reason why a sale cannot happen.

Sale shouldn't take long. According to FV it was nearly over the line when Bassini's injunction came in.

We'll see.

Could be completed before Emmerdale at 7pm.

I'll cartwheel naked to Tranmere if it is.

I'll be very surprised if FV do a deal before the 2nd September now.

So we are still stuck up that creek.

I note the reports about the findings in Court today which state the injunction has been amended, allowing the sale of the football club to continue unimpeded by this issue.
I know it has been a frustrating few days for all involved, causing a continuing delay.
Now we must progress to completion as quickly as possible in order to secure the future of the club.

Accordingly, my lawyers and I are in contact with all parties to progress to completion as soon as possible and give everybody connected with Bolton Wanderers the good news they deserve.

Sounds more positive than at 11am this morning.
