Hi, all.
I had my bowel cancer operation last Tuesday and have recovered remarkably well so far. I was initially told it would be a 7-10 day stay in hospital, but escaped from Blackpool Victoria on Sunday evening. I was on the High care surgical ward and the daytime team were brilliant.
I now have to wait for analysis of the cancer to see what they want to do about the Chemotherapy regime.
It's wonderful being home just pottering about and I can now look forward to Christmas, although I won't be able to eat much of the rich food until my system settles down.
