In his pre-match press conference, Keith Hill told bwfc.co.uk that Ali Crawford will return for the away trip to MK Dons on Saturday.

The midfielder has been out of action since suffering a knee injury in October and returned to full training this week.

Hill said: “Ali Crawford will be 100% involved, it’d be a big boost to have him back but we can’t push too early. He’s an excellent player, his form before his injury was superb, we have missed him. Hopefully he’s back with us now and we can use him for the last 15 game.”

Ronan Darcy could also make his comeback from injury for Wanderers. The academy graduate has been out for the last few weeks with a foot injury.

He said: “Darcy is waiting on a fitness test, he’s had some injections and we are hopeful of him being included at the weekend.”

After a week of training, Hill is confident that the players can put in a good performance and pay back the fans’ support.

‘’We have to be confident. We’ll go there with a tremendous fan base, I know they’ll turn up and support them.

“This team will try and reward the supporters with a performance and we are looking for a positive result. We practice success and we want to bring success to our marvellous supporters and to this football club.

“The players want to feel that success, no one likes the feeling of losing, we have to go through the pain process and the healing process to go again. It’s hard at the minute but we know if we go through the right processes on the training pitch, the players will learn and they’ll put better performances in and we’ll get better results.

“I live in Bolton and the fans are magnificent wherever I walk. The support for me and the team, for the new identity of the football club is very good. It’s hard times that we are going through but hard times turn for good people.

“There is a lot of good people that are working for this football club, the owners and supporters are good people. I believe that we will turn into a winning, productive, automatic team,” said the Bolton manager.

Bolton travel to Stadium MK on Saturday to face a resurgent MK Dons team, who are unbeaten in their previous four games, and Hill expects a tough encounter.

He said: “They have a stylish style of play and have recruited well in January. They’ve gone back to their original identity that they had under Karl Robinson, the way that they created their success. Certain clubs should have a certain DNA and I believe MK Dons have gone back to that identity.”

From what i read online the tide has now turned against Hill and a lot of fans want him out. Not sure he will be sacked as i think they will give him the summer to rebuild the team and see where we are at Christmas.
