My highlight of the week comes from Amanda Platell:

"You'd think Gary Lineker would recognise the sound of a woman faking it by now."

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

My highlight of the week, and possibly weeks to come, is from over the pond, in the guise of Republican representative George Santos. Mind you, he has other names, including, now, a drag queen name, that he used during a drag contest in Brazil.
Despite all his lies, the Republicans have put him on two committees! You couldn't make it up.
Mind you, he probably could.

You can do better than that surely Boncey.
Funny peculiar can’t cut against funny humorous in my book.

It's my highlight of the week. What can I say. Does it have to be funny?

Of course it does. If it’s not funny, it’s a low light surely,

No. For instance, I ironed my own trousers yesterday. Not to a standard a professional would accept, but with me it's a low bar. That was a great highlight for me.
I normally just grab a pair of trousers, ironed or not, and put them on. Sometimes I just grab them.
My only requirement before putting my trousers on, is that they're dry. Then ,keeping them dry, is another matter, but we won't go into that.
So, ironing my own trousers was a big highlight for me. I should say, I was bullied into it. What's wrong with writing a list with an eyeliner pen anyway?
Tomorrow I might tell you about my passion for knee length socks.
Don't get me started on socks.

Lets have a few nominations for highlight of the week:

Back-to-back 5-0 wins?

OR another defeat for Vince's FGR and one point from 4 matches for Dunkin Dunc?

OR the Prince and Princess of Canada on South Park?

OR Wee Burney learning to play the violin and spend more time with her nephews and nieces?

They’ll be dancing, they’ll be singing, they’ll be Highland flinging in the streets of Kirkcaldy tonight . . .’

Defeat at Wycombe took a bit of gloss off the back-to-back 5-0 wins, so highlight of the week has to go to South Park but with a special mention for Dastardly Dale and FGR manager, Duncan disorderly.

Highlight of the week comes from Kelly Cates this week.  "they've beaten Manchester United by seven goals to nil... and they didn’t even play that well!”

I've just been to the paper shop.

With a wheelbarrow.
