Curtis Fleming joins Bolton

Don't think its been mentioned anywhere else - apologies if it as -

Bolton Wanderers have appointed Curtis Fleming as their new first-team coach.

The 44-year-old is reunited with manager Dougie Freedman and assistant Lennie Lawrence, having worked with the pair at Crystal Palace.

Freedman revealed soon after his appointment that he wanted Lawrence and Fleming to form part of his backroom team at the Reebok Stadium.

The former Middlesbrough and Republic of Ireland defender, 44, has worked as a coach at Boro, Livingston and then Palace.

Welcome to the Reebok Curtis! Freedman's got his backroom team now. Hopefully they can continue the good form we've enjoyed since releasing "Mr. In Demand" and his team of clowns from their duties.

I wonder what will become of Julian Darby now he has been appointed, he seemed to have a big role on the sidelines alongside Freedman and Lawrence.

EDIT: Actually, after reading the wiki, he was a non-league footballer who got a contract at Saints after pretending to be related to George Weah! LOL

That story about Ali Dia still amazes me. Not so much that they didn't do the identity checks, but how they would take someone on just because they are related to a footballer. Like signing Rooney's missus or Ronaldo's mum.
