So essentially the same team as last season.....just the goalie and Cogs.......neither are game changers. So after all the yapping about improvements he selects the same team.....of course I would expect plenty of subs later. Was hoping for more of a drastic team....we shall see what happens.

Wet but happy. We'll have sterner tests, but this was a solid start, with a lot to like. Some decent performances today, and I'm more than delighted.

Good game, and in complete control. the boys done well.
This Wanderers TV is just as good as the old EFL was, but now all games are included. Happy days.

Solid start. Not much created in the first half after the first goal went in. Still seems a slow build up. Interesting after our subs came on - presume we will see all of them on Tuesday.
Overall satisfied with three points in the bag - COYWM

Lincoln were absolutely awful but that was a good first day performance.
The defence & keeper were untroubled and the midfield looked in control (Dempsey excellent) but fook me, if our strikers could actually control a football we'd be dangerous. Every time the ball went up to the front two it bounced off a shin or a knee.
I said at the end of last season the only difference between ourselves and Barnsley was they had forwards who could control the ball. I'd pick Bod over any of the other forwards every single time because we aren't going to trouble the better teams if we can't hold the ball up top.
Still, I can't really ask for more than an opening day 3-0 victory.

A great team performance. everyone a good game. Williams looks like a new player and had a good game and Dacres-Cogley did equally well on the other wing. The defence didn't have much to do but thought Iredale played well and looks much better at LCB.
Bench looks strong and the lad from Brentford looks a decent player as well.

We were different class to Lincoln and could have gone up several gears if needed. The defence looks really solid and we are so dangerous down both wings and as good as Bradley was the delivery from Dacres Cogley look far more dangerous so before long it could be Bradley who? Also thank goodness they’ve finally got rid of the usual virtue signalling knee taking!!

It must mean that it has solved the problem of racism for good!
Oh wait, it hasn't at all, just as bad as ever...
What an absolute waste of time - no one stops being racist just because a bunch of footballers insist on taking 'an American' gesture, usually accompanied by a Black Power salute, before a game of football kicks off.
What an utterly futile 'politised' gesture when the Football League already had their own existing racial hate campaign and have now reverted back to it - because taking the knee was no more than just a passing gimmick at that carried and years after everyone else had packed it in.
