RIP Robbie Robertson

Robbie Robertson, co-founder, lead guitarist and chief songwriter of The Band died today after a long fight against illness aged 80.

RIP Robbie you will be much missed but I will be playing your music forever and a day.

Only Garth left now.

Only got into The Band recently but really enjoyed listening to them, a great band. RIP Robbie.

Long time fan, and I find it hard to see these people as old men. I get old, but my heroes remain in a sort of rock limbo.
