Thankfully they didn't find an equaliser to make it 2-2.
Fingers crossed for Tuesday now.
A two goal lead but we all know it's not in the bag yet.

'Bundling'. I like it.Keegan wrote:Nat Lofthouse would have been proud of Cameron Jerome on that 3rd goal - he obviously knew that Williams could score from there, so he kept the goalkeeper under wraps to prevent him from being involved. Shades of bundling the Man Utd goalie into the goal, I think.
Absolutely correct Wander. I’ve got friends counting their chickens before they’re hatched with saying Wembley is on!wanderlust wrote:It was nervy at times but we got over the line tonight. Just need to treat the second leg as if it's still 0 - 0 and play it like a cup final.

We are just half way there at the moment.

You set off early!

As for tonight - Santos MOM - everyone else did their job - Baxter saved us a couple of times. GT is still way off form but is Ian's favorite.
Not related, but where is Jon Daddy? is he injured - I must have missed that news.

God knows what my ticker will do if they get an early goal at our place.

I’m predicting 6 minutes
I'm sure both teams will recognise the importance of an early goal - albeit for different reasons - so it's not impossible if the game starts hammer and tongs. I'd prefer risking going for it from the off rather than sitting back trying to weather the inevitable storm that Barnsley will bring at the beginning of the game.finlaymcdanger wrote:
