Seems Dougie is set to bring in another face from his old club Palace with him, this time it's Lee Turner who is a goalkeeping coach.

Crystal Palace Manager, Ian Holloway, who is set to appoint his former Blackpool coach George Wood as a replacement, said: “I didn’t really want to change anything but Dougie has now taken Lennie and Curtis.

“He rang up and said he had offered Lee Turner something.
“We spoke to Lee and he felt he was right to go. He has been ultra professional.”

Wanderers remain tight-lipped on any addition to the coaching team but The Bolton News understands Turner may be one of two more arrivals to Freedman’s Palace staff.

We should never have got rid of Fred Barber.

Agreed, but to be fair I think he had no other option with Coyle being there and Coyle wanting his useless coaches taking charge.
But anyone can tell the difference between Bogdan currently and Bogdan under Barber - he needs a better coach than we have currently.

There are a lot of staff and players we shouldn't have got rid of in hindsight, but we are past that now so we can only look to the future.

Lee Turner spent most of his career at Margate and Ebbsfleet so let's hope he is a better coach than a keeper.
