Guðni Bergsson, who played 6 seasons with Spurs and 8 with Bolton, captained Iceland and now practices law in Reykjavík, was stabbed twice today as he tried to save his colleague from a knife attack

I'd like to clarify this a little bit for people: What happened was that Guðni him self was only stabbed once in the thigh and is not in a critical situation, he's gone home from the hospital, however his boss was stabbed twice by the assulter.
It seems this was regarding a small debt that the man owed, and he had never had any contact with Guðni himself, it was Guðni who was trying to help his colleague and that is why he got stabbed.
