The fat bastard went through a 12 month period where he simply couldn't miss.

When he used to come on as sub you just knew he was going to score. Great days.

I have fond memories of Ricketts, he really could finish. Love that goal he scored at Leicester where he twatted it into the top corner after shaking off a defender.

He's awesome, that celebration at Old Trafford. Christ what a day!

I remember thinking I'd gladly swap him for Elmander, the last time we played Tranmere and he came on off the bench.

It was very odd how his career went down the pan after leaving us.

It all seemed to go wrong after he played for England. He scored some excellent goals for us and although I wasn't happy to see him go he had clearly lost his form. Unlike Nolan he never recovered it.

I remember Ricketts writing his Ferrari off when he made his big money move to Boro. I wonder what he is driving around in these days?

Wasn't he in court not so long ago for chinning his missus ?
