As stated ad nauseum, it was only a matter of time before they came good. Liverpool weren't at their best but QPR played great. Our survival or otherwise depends on us though so it shouldn't concern us too much.

Wolves, Wigan, QPR and Blackburn are all fighting, along with us, for survival so they will play their hearts out. we should not be relying on teams/games to help us. We should be helping ourselves - we have enough games left.

Every football team in any football league in the world has to rely on other teams to at least a certain extent. Otherwise there wouldn't be a point in having a league.

Two factors determine where any team will finish in any league - their results and the other teams' results.

It amused me that you slate the team saying they have no winning mentality in a thread called 'Why we are going down'..

Bet they love having you in the stands, booing them on.

That's one way of looking at it, but rather than focussing on what other teams do I'd rather think that if we are good enough to to get more points than 3 other teams over the season then we deserve to stay in the Prem and if we don't we deserve to go down.
It's just my preference to look at survival based on our efforts rather than survival because other teams are sh1t - although I take your point that the two things are related.
