Wanderers are keeping their fingers crossed but look to be over the worst of the sickness bug that sabotaged plans for last weekend’s home defeat by Brighton.

Dougie Freedman is hoping to have a full squad available for training tomorrow, with Mark Davies now back in the fold. The midfielder was a late withdrawal last Friday before the Brighton game – but he, Andy Lonergan and Jermaine Beckford are expected to be in contention for this weekend’s trip to Yeovil.

Gary Johnson’s side returned from the North West with an excellent 3-3 draw at Wigan on Tuesday night, which saw five goals scored in the final eight minutes.

The Glovers remain in the bottom three and are 10 points behind Wanderers as they prepare to make their first league visit to Huish Park.

The Whites have an eight-point cushion on Millwall in the final relegation place, however, and will go into the game as favourites – a tag that keeper Adam Bogdan admits has been difficult to cope with at times this season.

“It’s hard to find the answer why – and I don’t really have it,” Bogdan said. “We all start off with the best intention. We want to beat Yeovil, try our best.

“But this season has been a rollercoaster. We had a great run of games in October but then we fell off it, now we’ve lost another one after a good spell.

“The important thing is that we try to learn from it and go straight away and have a good spell.

“There are still 10 games left and our job now is to put every effort into winning as many of them as we can, see where it takes us.”
