The best forward pairing you've seen play against Bolton?

I'm talking about on the same day in the same match.

The best striker pairing that I've seen play against our lot was Kevin Keegan and John Toshack (with Stevie Taylor and Neil Whatmore a close second  ).

Wouldn't the Winker have been a winger then Boggers?

He certainly did. He scored a few as well.

Difficult choice but Gary Birtles and Tony Woodcock were a real handful in the late seventies.

Paul Mariner and John Wark were another decent pairing under Bobby Robson at Ipswich.

The most modern one for me is Adebayor and Tevez.

They tore us a new orifice that day.

One of my absolute favourites at that time.

In the premier league era one of our own ( Eidur ) formed a decent partnership with Jimmy Floyd at Chelsea. At times they were almost telepathic.

Back in the day Bob Latchford was a bloody handful and Duncan McKenzie was a very gifted player who never lived up to his full potential.

Aye Latchford was, mainly because Everton had one of the best wingers (ex Burnley) that has ever played the game in Dave Thomas.
