Brian and Jennifer Armitage had been forced to abandon their hire car on the busy Chorley New Road, in Bolton, after running out of fuel.

While all the other drivers using that road just drove past 'Super Craig' pulled in and helped push the broken down vehicle to the side of the road and then drove off to the local Petrol Station to get some fuel for the couple.

He then came back and re-fueled their car not accepting any payment off Mr Armitage.

Mr Armitage is a season ticket holder at the Macron too.

Good on him. Lucky it wasn't Wayne Rooney who pulled over to help. He would have tried banging Mrs Armitage in the back of her car in return for the fuel.

Well done, Craig, you're a credit to the club. I notice none of the players from United or City or any of the so-called "big clubs" stopped to help. Twats.
