Championship Top 6

I know that it's early and folk need to see who signs who blah blah blah, but which clubs do you think will be in the top 6 as it is now?


Here's mine in no particular order......

Hull
Wolves
Derby
Boro
Cardiff
Fulham

What about Burnley?

Id have them in the top six?

Or Bolton?

I think Hull will drop like a Stone.

I'll do another What's the Point competition before the season starts. I know it's so difficult to predict events in the Championship but I think there could be one or two surprises next season if previous seasons are anything to go by. Boro and Derby are probably favourites with the three that came down from last season but I don't think it's as simple as that. In no particular order I'll go with QPR, Ipswich, Notts Forest, Birmingham, Sheffield Wednesday and us ( but I'm biased with the last one.)

Dougie will ruin Forest. He will be facing hostilities from the locals by Christmas time. Not worried about them at all this season. Sheffield Wednesday is a bold prediction.

I'd love to think we'll make the playoffs but I can't see it right now. We could really struggle next year but equally we could be a surprise package with a few decent signings and an injury-free season.
As it stands I'm thinking the three relegated teams plus Derby, Boro and either Forest or Ipswich.

Burnley, Derby, Boro, Woolufs, Hull and Ipswich

Looks like Jelle Vossen is going to be one forward. Another maybe a loan - couple of young lads.... Sinclair from Liverpool or Long from Everton. I'd be relatively happy with that.

Shackell to Derby isn't going away though. That would be quite a loss.

Looks like our captain will be at Derby by the end of the week.

I've suggested Tim Ream as his replacement. How much?

I was thinking about £2.5 to £3 million for him.

You'd be able to get Le Fondre and have enough to pay Bannan's wages with that.
