I wish i was there

I go to a lot of gigs but there are a lot of bands or musicians i haven't seen due to them being dead, disbanded or i was simply too young to see them in their prime.

Who are the bands or musicians you wished you seen live on stage?

The Who in the 70's
Joy Division
Jeff Buckley (he did play Manchester once but i missed it thinking i would see him next time but it never happened  )
Jimi Hendrix
Public Enemy (still a chance to see them yet hopefully)
Gil Scott Heron
Stone Roses at Spike Island
Nick Drake
The Doors
Nirvana
Rage Against the Machine (i booked to see them at the Boardwalk in Manchester, a tiny venue when the first album came out but they cancelled and then got massive)
The Smiths

John Lennon
The Beatles
The Kinks
Sex Pistols
Nirvana
Steps (only kidding, i saw them at the arena)

probably loads more.

Seen quite a lot live due to working at the arena for a couple of years.  

Plus went to quite a few gigs in my younger days.

One of the best one's i went too was with the missus.  we hadn't been seeing each other long and went to watch the monsters of rock.  we actually tried to flog the tickets to the touts outside but they only offered us a fiver for the pair so we just went.

Would have loved to have been there.

Would loved to have seen Queen live (Wembley '86 looked immense)

I saw the Manic Street Preachers at the Millenium stadium on New Years eve 1999. Would have loved to have seen the early Manics.

Bob Marley live at the Lyceum 1975, clearly the greatest Live Album of all time.

Followed by Thin Lizzy Live and Dangerous amazing album.
