I just googled that because I didn't believe it but he is definitely there in the cast list. Apparently he was born in 1916 and died in 2006 so he deserves great credit for what he's done at Southend. There's not many managers can manage from beyond the grave. RIP Phil, you were a real one off.

The guy who played uncle Owen lars (lukes uncle) was called phil brown
