Andrew Taylor reflects on start to Wanderers career Andrew-taylor-4x3201-3288695_613x460

Andrew Taylor is looking to kick on after being handed his first Wanderers start and home debut against Everton in midweek.

The defender, who joined the Whites on loan from Wigan Athletic last month, has made three appearances so far since making the move to Macron Stadium.

Pleased with Bolton’s start to the season, Taylor is now hungry to make up for lost time after completing 90 minutes against the Toffees.

“It’s great coming to a new club when things are going well and you’re winning games,” he told bwfc.co.uk “We want to win every game that we’re involved in. Tuesday was disappointing and we need to dust ourselves and go again Saturday.

“I’m settling in well. They’re a great bunch of lads and a great staff. The fans have been really welcoming.

“It’s down to me now to put in the hard work and hopefully try and get myself in the team.”

Taylor continued: “It’s been a bit of a stop-start pre-season for me. I’ve not played too many minutes since I came here so it was good for me to get 90 minutes in midweek.

“Hopefully I can kick on now. The league is our bread and butter. We’ve made a fantastic start and we all want that to continue against Southend.”
