Feel Sorry for Rammy (again)

I've had some bad news recently. I had cancer a couple of years ago and after chemo was given the all clear. However the cancer has come back in a much more aggressive way. The surgeons at the Christie say that can't do anything for me so I'm on chemo again but  the doctors tell me there is little they can do for me and therefore they will give me chemo for a limited time but there is little hope of recovery. So- bad news for me and sorry if reading this has spoiled your morning

They tell  me its months, not years.

But I'll still be spouting my opinions about the Wanderers till I can spout no more!!

I don't have the words to say how sorry I am for you and your family.

I know all on Nuts hope/wish/pray for the best for you.

I know you seemed close to Bread on here at one time so I've temporally removed his ban on the Bread2.0 account in case he sees this and wants to pass on his wishes to you.

Our hearts are with you.

I feel for you Rammy, life can be so cruel. Words can't really do it justice.

Very sorry to hear this devastating news. Words really can't express what I feel about this but I do wish you all the best and please keep posting.

Got back from Cyprus this morning Rammy, and this news has knocked me sideways.

Hopefully the chemo will help some, and miracles do happen, (allegedly). Hang in there mate, most importantly, keep posting.

Cancer is so cruel, Rammy. 

Friends very close to us have a terminally ill 10 year-old daughter who needs specialist treatment which is beyond the scope of the NHS. Fund-raising is in full swing, aiming to find the £1,500 necessary....but  even if the money is raised, the likelihood of success in this case is remote.

I do hope that your prospects are not as bleak, Rammy, and that you and your family can stay strong.

Thanks everyone for your kind messages and good wishes. You are a really good bunch of people despite the minor falling out that we are prone to from time to time. I'll keep on fighting (and posting!) as long as I can  and let you know if there's a change of circumstances.
