Striker Tom Eaves has joined League Two Bristol Rovers on a three-month loan deal.

The 20-year-old could be in line to make his debut for Mark McGhee’s side in their away fixture at Exeter City this coming weekend.

Hopefully put in some good performances may give us so other options...

Yes if he scores loads of goals he can sit on the bench instead of Sordell.

We bought Eaves on the strength of his pre season hat trick for Oldham against us prior to the start of last season. Since then he has been on our wage bill and we have nothing to show for it.

If we are farming him out to Bristol Rovers it must be pretty obvious that Coyle has no use for him.

He did the same thing with O'Halloran by packing him off to Carlisle. I think he lasted one game but because he didn't get picked he is now back at Bolton.

Coyle wouldn't know a good player if it smacked him in the face. How many of his signings have been any good?

Let me guess, 'he's a great young talent who's going to benefit tremendously from the experience, and is definitely going to be a big player for this club in the future.'

If you can play .... you're ready now..... end of story.

Eaves was touted as the next SKD .....sadly Eaves will be 40 before he gets a chance with us.

In fairness, the next SKD will have to wait until the current SKD retires. Rough estimate? 5 years.
