I can remember the Millionaires Club run by the Stringfellow brothers but it was too expensive for drinking.

Listons was a dingy dive in a narrow st off market st ,all the furniture was bolted to the floor so it could not be used as weapons. I was going in there at 15 mixing with some heavy people,my school mate used to go with me,he got me in. One night we came out in the drizzle with the sign spluttering istons the L gone out and there was a mans dead body lying face down in the alley,my mate looked and said fuck he,s dead there's a knife in his back, we lit off like rockets and never went back. we went to the original Twisted wheel on whitworth st as well.
