According to Nixon on twitter the newest name on the frame for the Blackburn job is Peter Taylor!

For any gamblers out there it may be worth checking his odds and maybe even putting a small bet on!

Peter Taylor did really well with the England youngsters. A safe pair of hands in my opinion. I hope he tells the Venkys to swivel.

He did OK with the first team too during his brief tenure. I remember being surprised he wasn't given the job for a longer period. Good shout for Rovers if it's true.

But if you listened to Shabby's interview you will notice that he said he was in overall charge. Which means he will probably tell Bowyer who to play. Then when it all goes tits up, Bowyer will get the blame and Shabby will come out of it smelling of giblets.

They went for Taylor but it fell through due to a "tax issue" so back to the drawing board.
