David Bowie - first single in ten years!

He's 66 years old today apparently (Jesus where did all the time go?) and to celebrate he's released his first single in a decade.

Listening on the radio earlier it was reported that he turned down a personal request from Danny Boyle to sing 'Heroes' at the Olympics this summer.

Anyway his newest release and one of his classics -

listened to the new song earlier, wasn't impressed i'm afraid.

Been of ill health recently, his voice is not what it was and he does look gaunt. Have to say he has had a great career and never shy of doing his own thing. Seen him perform a couple of times and when he opened the new venue in 1972 ish in Manc, called Hard Rock under his new guise as Ziggy Stardust with the Spiders, it was much documented. The gig was tremendous btw and I walked home to Bolton!
