So, basically a squad full of Owen Coyle's disappointing signings for stupid money, Dougie starting to make a mark with new blood and some exciting signings for bargain prices

Only Eagles looks like value for money from Coyles signings imo.

Yes, well done Jake.

I guess you might say that Knight was re-signed by Coyle - otherwise he might have gone off somewhere else - if only he had!

Thank you Owen.

Out of that lot, think.
Megsons best is Mark Davis.
Coyles is Eagles but Eaves could be a bargain.
Freedmans is at the mo Medo.

A bloody steal was what it was.

Luckily the Mears money made it up a bit. Very Happy

You are mistaken, Eagles cost £4m, Burnley paid us £2m to take that useless cunt off their hands, as you were.

Your lot know how to ruin a player Martin.

Mears was alright for us, not as good as Trippier but alright.

You even ruined our ex snake of a manager.

How to ruin yourself, join Bolton. :flash:

Copper, Copper, Copper, I like you so I will tone it down, you fuckers knew exactly what you were doing by sending us agent Coyle, as has been proven Coyle was good for the smaller clubs, as they had less expectations, but once his honeymoon bubble burst at a big club, he had nowhere to hide, how often is his phone ringing?

Owen Coyle: 17.7m (12 players)
Gary Megson: 8.7m (4 players)
Sammy Lee: Free (1 player)
Dougie Freedman: 700k (4 players to date)

Not forgetting that Dougie is bringing in new blood as well so we have a mix of experience and youth

Also this is just our current squad, Owen Coyle spent way more than that, 2m on Alonso etc.

Which matches do you watch tit ?? He cant tackle, pass, shoot and is the only player ever seen who back pedals away from opposition players. When he does attempt a tackle he gives away a free kick because his timing is so shit.Running around the pitch like a headless chicken doesnt make you a good player otherwise he would be a world beater.

There's still time for several Coyle signings to prove decent value.

Ngog could be integral next season. He was missed in the final few games. Sordell's still young and needs time. Wheater's a top centre half on his day and is still only 26. Eaves is 21 and already looks useful. Lonergan looks a steal at £300k even if he remains as backup. The two years wages for Holden to do nothing will be ancient history if he returns as the player he was.

Not much of a claim. We ain't going anywhere next season unless we have two new strikers.
