Not a bad club to be playing I suppose...

Dont exactly leave me giggling with excitement though.

Will anyone bother going?

Friendlies are for fools. You're basically paying to watch footballers train.

Would you pay to watch a chef wash up?

Idiots.

A chef wouldn't wash up Nat.

A Kitchen porter or a young, fit eastern European/African student would.

Please keep your love of east European/African boys off the forum.

To be honest I'd rather watch a match in the league against Bournemouth than a friendly against Barcelona, non-competitive matches don't interest me at all.

Il be honest.

If we were playing Barca, id go to watch Messi and the like more than to see our squad get a 'run out'

Well it was from last years friendlies we realised we were going to be absolute crap under Coyle - so they do show up weaknesses in a squad whether its from the players or from teh management - last year it was both!!!!

I'm going to this game, as it's my birthday the day before and after the game we're on the piss!

If anybody does get to the game, watch out for their number 10. He's their star man. (Benat)

We have been watching beƱat...

"West Ham United are tracking Real Betis midfielder Benat.

Cadena Cope says West Ham and Bolton Wanderers had scouts posted on Sunday to see Benat in action against Celta Vigo.

Benat, 26, has also been linked with Bayern Munich and Manchester City this season."

That article was on the 16th may

Very technical side, finished 7th in the Spanish league.

Much better side than us at this time!

I'm not against the friendlies, just the fact clubs charge fans to watch them.

Anyone who pays to watch this shite should think about taking a bottle of pills with a few glasses of vodka. Only a lonely person would consider it.

Friendlies are a good thing especially when there are new players to integrate. Practice game time and player assessment at the same time. Plus they usually come after a football drought and it's good for fans to have a look at what the team is looking like and whether or not the manager is experimenting. Club incurs costs putting a game on so I think it's fair enough to charge,
