You just feel strongly about Spearing and are using the "get behind your team" card because you don't like my opinion. It's not about getting behind the team when you're talking about Zat "Knightmare".

I agree with above to some extent. Spearing is a very good player at Championship level and for us just what the doctor ordered. The truth is he is an average footballer who stood out for us last season because everyone else was inconsistent/shit. People are talking like it's the 2nd coming.
He's slightly better than Keith Andrews, so we will be a slightly better team with him in it.

Even I am happy with this signing, the problem with so many signings in recent years is they haven't actually strengthened the first team. This one does.

I agree with you there though. Our goalkeeper and defence are rubbish and our midfield still lacks creativity and is too reliant on Chris Eagles. And we need a striker to step up with 15+ goals.OneFinFreedman wrote:Why anyone thinks we will win the Championship is beyond me.
