Official: Spearing SIGNS!

According to the Mail, Liverpool have accepted £1.4 million for Spearing, What a snip if that's accurate. Just hope he can start on Saturday.

surely they'll wait to unveil him now on Saturday so Gartside can have his arm round him and look like a God on the pitch...

It's a good signing whichever way you look at it .... now if we can get Mavies fit before Xmas we have a few choices  in midfield for a change.

He has been given Fabrice's number, hopefully he can have the same impact as he did. Two great players

Hmmm can't agree with you their Jake, Muamba wasn't a great player IMO. Good ball winner but certainly wouldn't put him my bolton dream 11.

He did take around two years to settle in but when he did he was a crucial player, maybe not worth £5million but...

Spearings words about the move..


 "I will always be a Liverpool fan," Spearing told Sky Sports News Radio. "A lot of dreams came true, but now in football terms it was time for me to move on and get regular football. Regular football for me is the main thing for me now.

"Last year's loan was a massive part of my decision. I really enjoyed my time there, the lads, the backroom staff and everything about the club was something I really enjoyed and, as soon as I knew the manager was interested again, it was a good and easy decision to make."
