Conor Wilkinson was on the scoresheet for Chester against Aldershot Town on Saturday in his first game for the club.

The 18-year-old found the back of the net in the 68th minute, but the Deva Stadium outfit were denied all three points by Jaydon Gibbs' last minute header.

The game also saw a full debut for Chris Lester who played the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw.

Elsewhere, Tom Eaves was a late substitute for Rotherham United in their 2-2 draw at home to Colchester United with Cian Bolger featuring for the U's, while Marvin Sordell was an unused substitute in Charlton's 1-0 win at Birmingham City.

Keith Andrews also enjoyed a successful weekend, playing the full match in Brighton's 3-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers.
